The Ukrainian Center for Social Reforms and JTI Ukraine, with the involvement of relevant central executive bodies, the State Employment Service, the Institute of Demography, and social partners, are launching a project to promote the employment of older people, - as discussed at an online meeting, which was joined by Alexander SHUBIN, Executive Secretary of the Federation of Transport Trade Unions of Ukraine.
“During the implementation of the project, it is planned to study the best global and European practices for creating incentives to continue the professional activity of the most experienced category of employees, as well as to return to work those who have recently ceased their professional activity.
Research will also be conducted into the barriers that are currently hindering these processes, specific ways of removing them will be proposed, and specific legislative initiatives will be developed. Practical approaches will be developed for individual industries and territories".
