Following the official publication on January 19, 2026, on the website of the Verkhovna Rada of the text of the new draft Labor Code of Ukraine (reg. No. 14386), developed by the Cabinet of Ministers, the Federation of Transport Workers' Unions of Ukraine informed Parliament of its position on the document.
On the same day, official letters were sent on behalf of the Federation, signed by its Chairman Oleksiy SEMERUN’ to the Chairman Federation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, leaders of parliamentary factions and groups, members of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, as well as to the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Social Policy and Protection of Veterans' Rights.
In its appeal, the Federation presented its basic proposals and emphasized its readiness to contribute professionally and systematically to the finalization of the draft of the new Labor Code of Ukraine at all stages of further work on the document.
